About Swing Elite Sub

What is the Swing Elite Sub program?


Swing Elite Sub is a status reserved for Swing's most dedicated substitute teachers. You have the opportunity to achieve Elite Sub status each semester when you reach the goals specified for the semester. For Spring 2021, the goal is to teach 28 days beginning April 19, 2021 through May 28, 2021. Teachers who reach the goal for Spring 2021 will earn an exclusive package of rewards. You will receive an email from Swing telling you how to redeem your rewards on or before June 7, 2021.




Will there be more promotions in the future?


Yes! We will announce future promotions by email, so keep an eye on your inbox.




What if I'm not interested in Swing Elite Sub. Can I opt out?


If you are not interested in Swing Elite Sub, there is nothing you need to do. You will still see the dashboard in your Swing account, but you are not obligated to participate nor redeem your rewards.




If I participate in a Swing Elite Sub program, will Swing Education share my personal information with any of its third-party vendors?


The email address you use to log into your Swing account will be shared with our vendors solely for the purpose of administering the Swing Elite Sub program. For example, so that you may know how many points you have accrued and whether you have earned rewards. Swing Subs’ email addresses will not be shared by Swing’s third-party vendors except as needed for the sole purpose of administering the program. For example, upon claiming your reward, you will be asked to enter a shipping address so Snappy’s retail partners can ship your reward to you.

Earning Rewards

Where can I track how many days I've worked?


You can see the days you've worked during the promotional period in your account settings in the Swing platform. Click on your name in the upper right corner of the top navigation bar, then click “Account Settings.” On the app, tap the “More” button at the bottom of the screen. Note: Days worked updates every Wednesday. You will be able to view your days worked beginning Wednesday, April 26, 2021.




How long does it take for my dashboard to update?


Your balance will update on Wednesdays for the days worked the prior week. This is so we can confirm that you have successfully completed your assignments. The first update will be April 26, 2021 and the last update will be June 2, 2021.




What if I have to cancel an assignment? Do I still get credit for working a day?


If you cancel an assignment without working, you will not earn credit for that assignment.




What if I am sent home in the middle of the day while on assignment? Do I get credit for working a day?


Yes, as long as you are not sent home for misconduct or because you leave early without permission. Outside those circumstances, you will earn credit for one day even if you work a partial day.




What if I am in a long-term assignment?


Long-term assignments are the best way to reach your goal. If you have already begun a long-term assignment prior to the promotional period, you will begin receiving credit for the days you work starting April 19, 2021. The days you work prior to the promotional period will not count. If you begin a long-term assignment in the middle of the promotional period, you will receive credit for days worked through May 28, 2021, but not afterward.




What if I can't see the days I've worked?


The days you work for the previous week will update weekly on Wednesdays, beginning April 26, 2021. For example, days you work this week will display in your dashboard next week. This is so we can confirm you completed your assignment successfully.




Do half days, sick days or training days count toward the goal?


Either a half day or a full day counts as one day. If you work two half-days in the same day, it counts as one day. Neither training days nor sick days count toward the goal. Only teaching days count.




What if my dashboard is wrong?


If you believe the days worked shown in your dashboard is wrong, email us at community@swingeducation.com. Swing Customer Support will not be able to assist you with Swing Rewards questions, so please do not open a ticket with them. Remember: The days you work will not display in your dashboard until the next Wednesday.





Redeeming Rewards

How and when can I redeem my rewards?


When you teach 24 days during the period, you will be eligible for the rewards package. You will receive an email from “Swing Education via Snappy Gifts” with a personalized link to redeem your points. We’ll send you an email with your personalized link on or around June 7, 2021. To redeem your STEDI training package, email community@swingeducation.com to request a coupon code. We'll send you a reminder email so you don't forget to do this.




Will my rewards package expire?


Yes. You must redeem both your Snappy gift and your STEDI coupon code starting June 7, 2021 through June 30, 2021. We will send you reminders by email so you don’t miss out on your rewards.




Can I get cash instead of the rewards package?


No, Swing Elite Sub is not a cash incentive program.




What rewards will I earn?

How do I access my STEDI training package?


To access your STEDI training package, email us at community@swingeducation.com. We'll send you a code to log into STEDI and redeem your training package.




I have questions on how to use STEDI. Who do I ask?


If you have questions on how to use your STEDI training package, email them at info@stedi.org. You can also call them at 800-922-4693 (M - F, 8 am - 4 pm, MT) with any questions or issues have regarding the course or registration





Snappy Gift Service

How does Snappy work? Do I get to pick my own reward?


Yes! You may choose one item from a variety of rewards shown on the Snappy website.




Do I need a Snappy account?


No account is needed to use Snappy. When you earn a reward, look for the email from “Swing Education via Snappy Gifts” in your inbox. It will contain your personalized link to your gift collection, where you may choose one gift.




How come I can't see rewards on the Snappy website?


You will not be able to access gift collections on Snappy until you earn rewards and receive your personalized link to the gift collection.




How long does it take to receive my Snappy gift?


You should receive your Snappy gift in one week to ten days. If you do not receive your Snappy gift after you have redeemed your rewards using your personalized link from Snappy, contact the Snappy Customer Support team at info@meetsnappy.com. Please note: Swing Customer Support cannot help with Snappy shipping and delivery issues.




Will I have to pay income taxes on my Snappy gift?


No. Material goods valued under a total of $1600 for the tax year are not taxable.




What if I don’t like my Snappy gift. Can I exchange it?


Yes, you may exchange your gift. To process an exchange, contact the Snappy Customer Support team at info@meetsnappy.com. Please note: Swing Customer Support cannot help with Snappy gift exchanges.
